Shipping Policy

 

At True North Attachments, we ship skid steer attachments across Canada and want delivery to be as smooth as the rest of your purchase. Here's what to expect.

Free Shipping Across Canada Every attachment ships free to all ten provinces — no surprise freight charges at checkout. Deliveries to the territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut) or very remote locations may need a custom freight quote; please contact us before ordering.

Order Processing Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days of payment. Once your attachment leaves our facility, we'll send an email with the carrier name and tracking number.

Delivery & Transit Times Attachments are heavy equipment and travel by LTL (less-than-truckload) freight on a pallet or skid. Typical transit time after dispatch:

· Quebec & Ontario: about 2–5 business days

· Atlantic & Prairie provinces: about 4–8 business days

· British Columbia & remote areas: about 5–10 business days

These are estimates only. Weather, carrier backlogs, and remote-area delivery can add time.

Receiving Your Freight

· Delivery is curbside. The driver won't move the attachment to a specific spot, so have a way to take it off the truck — your skid steer, a forklift, or a couple of helpers.

· If you don't have unloading equipment, don’t worry, a liftgate will be arranged without added carrier fee.

· Please have someone available to receive and inspect the shipment.

Inspect Before You Sign — Important

· Check the attachment for shipping damage before signing the delivery receipt.

· If you see damage, note it on the carrier's paperwork (bill of lading) and take photos.

· Report any freight damage to us within 48 hours so we can file a claim and make it right.

· Signing "clear" with no notes makes damage claims very difficult, so take a minute to look it over.

Local Pickup — Brossard, QC On Montreal's South Shore. Choose local pickup at checkout and skip shipping entirely. We'll email you when your order is ready to collect in Brossard.

Address Accuracy Please double-check your shipping address and phone number — freight carriers call to schedule delivery. Carrier fees for wrong or incomplete addresses or re-delivery may be passed along.
